First of all, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for visiting Mommy Rantings. I started it as a simple project in the beginning of 2006. I didn't have any real goals or ambitions for it at that time.
After all, way back then, there wasn't even the coined phrase "mom blogger."
I just wanted a place where I could write about my family, funny thoughts that I had and silly kid stories that I loved, in addition to some parenting advice and product reviews. It was all basically to clear some clutter out of my head.
The inspiration grew as my family and friends, fellow colleagues and mom bloggers started commenting on my site and sending me emails, letting me know that the content that I was posting was actually valuable to them.
As time went on, I became more and more excited about the fact that readership soared to numbers that I still cannot believe. Mommy Rantings is now more than a thought process...it is a site that is loved by a plethora of readers. It is a place that is respected by many different child advocate groups, teacher and parent associations, and even a few non-profit organizations. I am extremely humbled and amazed by this.
In 2012, I wrote my book, Review Bloggers and published it on Amazon to help other bloggers. Step Up Your Blog: How to Write Engaging A-List Blog Posts published early in 2016.
I have continued to publish Breaking the Rules and Goofing Up, two must-reads, according to the reviews. :)

Something For Everyone
Mommy Rantings is rising, in visitors and followers every day. Come one, come all and celebrate the joys and the woes of parenting, where your opinions are welcome and your comments and guest blog posts are loved! But, you don't have to be a parent to visit and enjoy Mommy Rantings! No!
So many topics are covered here that you would seriously be hard-pressed to not find something that you could relate to or enjoy reading, no matter who you are. Go ahead and search through the categories...I'm sure you'll find something you like!
Do I Have Some Advice For You....
In addition, if you are a newbie mom and you want some advice from a mom of 9 who has definitely been through a myriad of mommy struggles, please feel free to ask me anything...isn't that what a blog is all about? From infants to teenagers (I have made it to the dreaded teenage years, and I have many more to go!), I have probably been through the trial and error several times.
Additionally, I love to research and have brought the data and research I have gathered for almost two decades when I have spoken at conventions and seminars.

I'm Not A Perfect Mom
I'm not perfect and I don't know all the answers, but we all can work together to be the best moms (or parents or caregivers or grandparents) that we can be. I also break all the parenting rules, as I explained in my book Breaking the Rules. "Not because I'm a rebel mom, but because I love my kids."
