Wikki Stix Review

Still looking for a great gift for your kids for Valentine's Day?

Wikki Stix has a fabulous idea! They have a box specifically for Valentine's Day! And, if it's anything like the sets that I was sent for review, your kids will definitely enjoy some fun crafting time for Valentine's Day.

I'm a firm believer that crafting is a wonderful thing for children. It encourages several different aspects of development: physical, mental, creativity...

Now, I was sent some other super cool items to review...and let me tell you, every single one of my children went nuts when the box came! We received the Rainy Day Play Fun Activity Set:

The name is perfect, because if it's raining or snowing, this set will last ALL DAY LONG and beyond! It came with:

  • 96 Wikki Stix
  • 4 Connect the Dot Scenes
  • 2 Mazes
  • 2 Matching Activities
  • 1 Fish Mobile
  • 1 Crown
  • 3 Dino prints
  • 1 Storybook
  • 2 Door Hangers
  • 1 Mask
  • 3 Wikki Word Finds
  • 2 Greeting Cards
Now, usually when a children's product is sent to me in the mail, there is an immediate issue...Six children versus one {whatever I received to review}, but when the Wikki Stix box came, just the Rainy Day Play set alone had enough to keep all six kids busy for hours and hours...and it was a "Snowy Day Play" set for us...and the children made mobiles that hung from the ceilings and crowns to wear around to announce their Kinghood and Queenhood.

There's plenty left to go around...

And, when I say hours and hours of fun - the kids played forever and there are still things to do several days later. The package is so chock full of fun things to do, even SIX kids couldn't make a dent in it in one three hour session! And, it's only $14.99! Think about the toys that you pay big $$$ for...and think about giving your child(ren) something that will help them expand their mind.

Wikki Stix was cooler than that....they also sent the Super Wikki Stix!

If you have never seen these before, they are 3 FEET LONG! Again, there are still many of these left...and this is after hours of crafting as well...

We had snowmen and army men and hearts and...my goodness! The creative juices were definitely inspired by a canister of coated strings, basically. For only $19.99, you will give your children the tools to get creative and innovative.

Now, for those of you who are thinking, "Aren't those Bendaroos?", the answer is "no". I have to say that my children can't tell the difference between Bendaroos and Wikki Stix...heck, I can't tell the difference! But, Wikki Stix are American-made, American sold and Bendaroos are not. So, if you are an "American-made only" family, you'll want to buy from Wikki Stix.

From one mom to another, I LOVE these things! Whatever can keep the troops here busy for hours is a winner for me!
