Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce Review and Giveaway! CLOSED

Sorry, Country Bob's, for taking so long to post up this review and GIVEAWAY! But, I had to get past the turkeys and the hams and...all of the other holiday yummies and make a REAL meal. I take that back...I asked my husband to make a real meal. :)

The Meal

Last night, we finally went back to the "normal, everyday" type of cooking and the kids begged me to let them review the Country Bob's Sauce with their portion of pork. First of all, the meal itself was as close as you can get to a Chinese restaurant meal. We had the thin cut pieces of pork, pan fried in olive oil, onions, soy sauce and its own juices and then two different types of Oriental noodles - one was the peanut something and the other was teriaki - my fave! (By the way, for those of you who are dieing to create your own Chinese-style food at home, the Oyster Sauce that you can find in the International aisle in the grocery store is the trick - it creates the color on the noodles and that taste! Add it slowly and stir it into the meat and noodles, and Viola! Be really careful not to add too much!!!)

Just so that I could put my two cents in, I poured a tiny bit on my finger and tested it. It had a smooth, BBQ-y taste to it at first and once the flavor settled down, you get a hint of the bite! I thought that the combination of the smooth and the bite were perfect for steaks and hamburgers. The kids thought that it was delicious and knocked out half of the bottle in one sitting on their pork! And, they are some fairly picky eaters!

Chicken? Hmmm...I guess if it's good with pork, it will be delish with pork!
