Okay, so I had to take a second look at the Cadoozles. Because, don't they just look like some pretty pencils? Look again...they are actually mechanical pencils! And, they are shorter than regular pencils. Perfect for little hands to hold...and the best part? No pencil shavings all around the house! I am constantly trying to hunt down "It Wasn't Me", my invisible child who does everything wrong around the house, to get him to clean up the pencil shavings that mysteriously accumulate around the house. (I haven't found him yet...I'll let you know when I do!)
Oh! And, if you have mistake-prone children, these pencils come with extra long, colorful erasers...I wonder if they have replacement erasers? The erasers are always gone before the lead in our house...
These are cute, easy to use, and fun looking - they make homework time fun! And, the kids love the name of them, too. "Mom, can I use one of your Cadoozles, please?" They even have my children saying please!
Needless to say, I love these!
Zebra Pen Corporation also sent me Daisies Ball Point Pens...
If you're like me, and you like those grippies on pens and pencils so that they don't slip when you write, these are the pens for you! Oh, and the color of those grippies is the color of the ink! Fun, huh? They also have clips, so you can clip them wherever you need them. And, no, I won't be allowing my children to "borrow" these pens...they will wear the ink all the way out!
Causes & Campaigns
I also want to point out some of their "community involvement", so to speak. They support the National Breast Cancer Foundation, in the form of pens, their Care For a Cure campaign AND a donation of $25,000. I love these pens with the pink ribbon!
Their other campaign is Care for Nature. (Taken directly from their site), here's what they said:
"Writing instruments are familiar items that many people use on a daily basis. If we can spread the idea of taking care of our resources through our products and people enjoy using them, then Zebra’s purpose will be realized. Our Eco products are made from over 70% post-consumer waste materials, including car headlights, compact dics, materials from cellular phones and LCDs, shopping baskets and car battery cases."
The next time you purchase a pen, wouldn't it be nice to know that your money will go to a good cause?
