A calorie burning pair of tights? Tummy shaping, muscle toning, calorie burning...Yes, this is what ShaToBu (Shay-to-boo) claims. What I love about these tights is how they hug the body and suck in those undesirable spots that us ladies want to decrease. You want to wear that tailored dress, but that pudge in the middle of your belly is holding you back...throw on some ShaToBu tights and they suck your pudge in so you don't have to. :)
Slimming & Calorie Burning
According to their website, the ShaToBu tights provide an immediate 3-6% reduction. They also "tone muscles with 30% more resistance than other shapers". And...they burn "up to 12% more calories during daily living activities, such as walking or climbing stairs". This was proven through a study that was conducted for two years, using over 100 subjects. They call it "The Workout You Wear".
My Thoughts
Now, being as small as I am, I cannot tell you whether or not I burned any more calories or lost any weight wearing them - I hope not! But, I can say that help with those trouble spots that I like to keep covered up. They shape and firm up...Love it! This is the pair that I received:
The coolest part is: you can wear them under anything! Especially if you get the footless or the Waist to Knee Shaper. Imagine under jeans, being 1-4 inches smaller around the waist. Your jeans will slide right on!
I highly recommend these shapers for anyone who wants to lose a couple inches instantly and burn some extra calories throughout the day!
I also want to mention that I had trouble finding a sizing chart on the website to choose which size I needed, but Sari from ShaToBu was extremely helpful and courteous...it's always nice to have someone who cares about their job and making sure that you get the right fit the first time!
