Cowgirl Chocolates Review & Giveaway! CLOSED

The Head Cowgirl, Marilyn, at Cowgirl Chocolates sent me a little BIG surprise! I had offered to review Cowgirl Chocolates, not really knowing what I had in store! Okay, I had heard that they were spicy...and I'll honestly throw out there that I am one of the few women who is not really interested in chocolates...

But, I just had to try them!

So, Miss Head Cowgirl sent me some of her Cowgirl Chocolates to try out...and the first one I chose was the caramel. Skip right past the chocolates and unwrap the caramel...only to end up with a flaming hot mouth! Apparently, the caramels are the spiciest? LOL!

Oh, But I Am Skipping Ahead of Myself...As Usual

The chocolates came packaged just like the picture above...in a red box tied with a black velvety ribbon and mine had a star charm, instead of the heart (but isn't the heart just perfect for Valentine's Day?) You can also see the tag that can be personalized (as it is blank) if you want to give these very unique chocolates as a gift!

Each chocolate was wrapped in a metallic-looking, shiny candy wrapper. So, you know, of course, my little reviewers were more than happy to pick a chocolate out of the box to review for me! All six of them wanted to try the candy. Now, I had already tried the caramel, so I knew what to expect out of the chocolates...

But they had no idea!

One by one, the children eagerly ripped the wrapping off and bit into their chocolates, and one by one, they started breathing in and out of their mouths like they were in labor. "They're hot!" was the immediate reaction. "You knew they were hot! Why did you let us eat them?" Oh, like they weren't just dieing to get their little hands on my candy! There's a good way to teach your children to stay out of your candy...leave some of your Cowboy Chocolates somewhere within reach, where you know they will try to sneak one from...and set up a camera to catch the moment!

That's one thing that I was missing - a camera! (I'm definitely working on getting one very soon!) I wish I had a chance to catch their reactions on camera - the overall, immediate reaction was priceless. Even the two little guys were saying, "Hot! I need a drink!" LOL

Spicy Chocolates! Who Came Up With That Idea?

It's called a "spicy cowgirl kick" - the hot sensation that makes Cowgirl Chocolates so unique. Head Cowgirl Marilyn herself came up with the concept of adding spices while making chocolate and she was one of the first in the world to create this uncommon mixture.

If you're a chocolate lover, here's something new to add to your palate!
